25 - no more gadgets!

It took me listening to the helpful directions too many times to realize my blog had already been updated to the new customizing feature. Yikes! Once that fact was established, I was off to the races! I started surfing all of the possible gadgets. On my apple, they are widgets. On my google home page, they are gadgets. Since I have already done this twice, it wasn't hard, just time consuming. I had to stop myself from clicking on "next" again. My igoogle is set up to be my hompage and I use it daily to check the weather, read the news,and all of the other gadgets I've added. I am not sure how often I would check my blog, so question the usefulness of all of the extras. Is it so I can "sell" my blog to viewers? Will they only want to come back if I have the most useful, interesting, and fun gadgets? Whatever....... Glad I learned how to do this in another format. The two gadgets I was most excited about adding were "broken" - bummer! Also, I need to check with my tech guy at school as I was extremely intrigued by the gadget for podcasts. Mmmm, there may be hope for my year old podcast yet!
