Tweet Tweet! #27

Well, I am on Twitter, for what good it will do me! I know 1 person who "tweets" and have followed her via Facebook updates thru Twitter already. Let's see - trying to complete my assignment. My user name is momlaz. I am following at least 4 people now - 2 that I know personally! Kind of creepy to stalk other people though! I tried to make my page look cute :) and will continue to follow the people I signed up to follow. As you have probably deduced by now, I am doubting the usefulness of Twitter for myself. At some point, I think it's okay to keep my personal news to myself - not blab everything to everybody in internet land! When is enough enough? For me, I am reaching it in terms of social networking/sharing. I noticed that the Hibbing Library used Twitter for announcements etc.. . Like a shortened public announcement section I think. Could be useful for them - not sure about the application to me and my situation. I suppose it could be used as a forum for me to publicize different activities for the families and unique lessons I have been teaching. This would save on paper and get the news directly to the receiver without being lost "on the bus". Finally, one potential problem: I am too cheap to do this with my cell phone. I don't text! oh well - I will follow some folks and maybe I'll change my mind.
